The hot-box furan resin isdeveloped and manufactured by our company, is environmental and suitable for all types of casting including steel, iron and non-ferrous parts, with variety complete. It is pale yellow to reddish brown liquid with following features:
1. Low viscosity, convenient for measurement and easy for mixture, in favor of mold sand liquidity. 2. Less content of free formaldehyde and less odor, good for working condition improvement and environment.
3. Specific strength is high, which means less resin will be added and good for the improvement of casting parts’ quality. 4. Good collapsibility and easy for clearance of the sand.

1. You had better add curing agent first , then adding Furan hot box resin when mixing sand .
2. Use matching with the special curing agent produced by our company will be better . 3. Stored in a cool place , preventing heat and exposure . 4. Sand mixing place should maintain good ventilation. 5. Mixing sand to prevent air dried and consumed as soon as possible , generally not more than four hours .

Sand mixing technology reference : a ) Batch sand mixer: join the measured base sand first, addition of curing agent mix for 1 minutes, then mix with resin mix for 2 minutes, resin sand mixed in a certain amount of air pressure into the core-box b) Roll wheel sand mixer: join the measured base sand first, addition of curing agent mix for 2 minutes, then mix with resin mix for 2 minutes, resin sand mixed in a certain amount of air pressure into the core-box
c) Core making, core shooting air pressure: 2-5kg/cm2 . d)Hardening temperature and time: temperature :220~280°C. Time (depending on the size of sand cores)
